Library Student Assistant (Data Projects)
About the Job
The Science Library at the University of Mississippi is looking for a student to assist in a range of projects focusing on the extraction and collation of data from a number of internal and external sources. The successful candidate will assist in the utilization of APIs associated with digital scholarly resources and the extraction and cleaning of internal Library data resources. They will also help the Library design a platform for the management and utilization of the extracted data. Experience utilizing APIs is required. Experience designing APIs is preferred.
It is anticipated that this will be a 10-15 hour a week position lasting through the Fall semester with the possibility of extending into the Spring. Interested students can e-mail Jason Burton. Please include a short work history and knowledge/experience directly related to the position.
