BSCS Program Reaccredited by ABET/CAC

The Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET announced on August 5, 2015 that it is reaccrediting the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program at the University of Mississippi under its Computer Science Program Criteria. The BSCS program has been continuously accredited by ABET/CAC or its predecessor agency since 1990.

According to the ABET website: "ABET accreditation sets the global standard for programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology."

The Department of Computer and Information Science and the School of Engineering remain commited to offering a high-quality professional program in computing for the current and future students of the University of Mississippi. We are pleased that our flagship BSCS program continues to be recognized in this way.
