Whitley Receives Taylor Medal
2012 BSCS graduate Anna Whitley was presented a Taylor Medal at the Honors Colloquium on April 12. The Taylor Medal is the University’s highest honor. Ms. Whitley was one of only 64 students campus-wide so honored this year. An unprecedented 11 of these were students in the School of Engineering.
Whitley is a graduate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and, as one of three Engineering students graduating with a 4.0 gpa, served as a class marshal during the School of Engineering Commencement ceremony in May.
Whitley plans to attend graduate school at Florida International University and study Game Design.
