CSCI 533: Analysis of Algorithms
Department of Computer and Information
Science
The University of Mississippi
Announcements:
- Here are the final grades.
If you want your homeworks back, please come get them the week
of December 11-15. You can look at the final exam, but you
can't keep them.
- About the final exam. It is Monday, December 4th at 4:00 pm. It
is comprehensive, so study your old tests and homeworks. It is
open notes, but NOT open book. So you can use everything
you have written down or printed, but I don't want you to have
the temptation of searching a 1000+ page textbook for the answer during
the exam.
- I'm not sure what the final grade "cutoffs" will be. Maybe around
85 or 86 for an A and 75 or 76 for a B.
Fall 2006 Syllabus
Homework and Programming guidelines should be
followed for each assignment.
Here is a copy of the Theoretical Computer Science Cheat Sheet
that has been around for years. I think it was originally published in SIGACT, but
has been revamped a bit since then.
An online copy of a new
Algorithms textbook, by Dasgupta, Papadimitriou, and Vazirani is now available
from McGraw-Hill.
