UltraEdit & NetBeans
Due to popular demand UltraEdit has been installed in all department labs. Instructions on how to set it up to use Java tools can be found on Dr. Schoenly's web site.
The NetBeans IDE has been installed in the South Adler Lab and the Systems lab. It is a Java IDE, but has a higher learning curve than UltraEdit.
NetBeans is free and can be downloaded from here. UltraEdit is not free, but a free 45 day trial version can be downloaded from here.
