Abstract:
Various economic terms will be described to provide a brief background
in macroeconomic theory. A series of macroeconomic trends will be
analyzed from the start of our nation to the present to show how we
have perused a course of extremely high economic risk. Systematic
mis-representations by the Bureau of Labor Statistics in GDP,
unemployment, and CPI statistics will be documented to reveal the
nature of the high economic risk we are facing today. We will also
examine past and present Federal Reserve actions as it relates to the
economy. And, finally, we will show how the present "sub-prime"
mortgage crisis, shown in context, is the first of a three-part
trigger that will lead, in all probability, to a hyper-inflationary
depression by the year 2010.
