Abstract:
Concurrency is a growing area of concern for programmers. The traditional
emphasis on sequential programming is giving way to the demands of
multi-core and multi-processor systems. Programming languages have evolved
to support a variety of concurrent programming techniques. This paper gives
an overview of those techniques.
