Hear insights into the continuing education gained in the workplace by one of our Computer Science alumni as he recounts his career since graduation and the life lessons learned.
Paul M. Garner, Chief Information Officer of Willbros USA, Inc. has over 23 years experience in the computer technology design and manufacturing fields with extensive international operations experience. As CIO for Willbros, he is responsible for managing the companys worldwide information technology and global IT operations.
Prior to joining Willbros he was Vice President of Network Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for Insource Technology, a Houston-based information technology consulting firm. During his career, Paul served as Director of Systems Development for Portables and Laptops at Compaq Computer Corporation where he holds three world-wide patents for laptop design. Garner has a B.S. degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business from the University of Mississippi.
